Getting To Denman Island
A 10-minute ride on BC Ferries' first cable ferry is all it takes to make the connection to Denman Island. Take Highway 19 north from Nanaimo or south from the Comox Valley to the Denman Island ferry terminal in Buckley Bay on central Vancouver Island. It’s worth the trip! There is also a cross-island bus service between the Denman West terminal (from Buckley Bay), and the Gravelly Bay terminal (to Hornby Island).
