This remote, Denman Island bed and breakfast is a gorgeous retreat. You will find a well maintained A-frame thoughtfully filled with everything you need for a relaxing, tranquil get-away for two.

This property features it’s own walking trail, and is close to some of Denman Island’s most stunning beaches and trails.You can head outside and spend a relaxing part of your day in the terraced garden that includes two private patios and a propane fire pit. This is a quiet neighbourhood but we do have deer, eagles, squirrels and ravens who visit us. Maybe you’ll see them on the trail.

At Terrace Gardens B&B we provide a thoughtfully gathered welcome basket of seasonal local offerings. Contents may include locally made soaps, ciders, fresh sourdough bread and eggs. We hope you’ll feel cared for as soon as you arrive!

Full kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.

Sleeping loft holds a king size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. The large bathroom has a deep tub and rain shower head.

The comfortable open space in Terrace Gardens B&B is filled with baskets, cups and rugs created by local artisans.

We are Fred and Sheila. Denman Island has been our home since the spring of 2020. We moved after years of operating a fibre mill on a farm. Fred was the primary fibre operator and farmer as Sheila worked for nearly 3 decades as an occupational therapist. We have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and a grandson. We also have a small older dog. Spending our time outdoors is our passion and we are avid gardeners. If you can’t find Sheila, she is likely to be found in the small nursery and greenhouse. We strive to maintain the health of our forest and our gardens work with nature as much as possible. We are so very happy to welcome you to this piece of paradise and will work towards making your stay at Terrace Gardens B&B a relaxing and memorable experience.
