About Denman Island Museum & Archives
The Denman Island Museum & Archives shares the history of early settlement of the land and marine area surrounding Denman Island, including First Nation artifacts, settler life, Island development, cultural life, environment and geology.
Exhibits include historical artifacts, photos, and information, including publications and videos about:
- Pioneer families
- First Nation tools, fishing implements, and petroglyphs
- Industries: Logging, Fishing, Shellfish, Farming, Quarry
- Geology
- Denman Island Street Names history and the people behind them.
The Museum & Archives are located in an annex of the Denman Activity Centre in downtown Denman just up from the General Store.
Accessible public washroom available.
