Denman Island Community Dock

The Denman Island Community dock is a public wharf and moorage provided by  the Denman Island Residents Association (DIRA). The Dock is located down the hill from Denman Village.

The facility consists of a single wharf of (length) and (number) moorage buoys. The wharf is approached by a raised walkway from the parking lot. The BC Ferries Denman Island West terminal is located right next door

Apart from moorage, the dock does not provide fueling, garbage or waste disposal facilities. Public  washroom facilities are available at the BC Ferries Denman Island terminal.

Moorage Fees

As of 2018, the following rates apply:

• First six hours are free.
• April 1st to September 30th: $1:00 per foot per day.
• October 1st to  March 31st: 50 cents per foot per day.

Buoy moorage: $10.00 per day.

Moorage fees apply to dinghies or any other type of watercraft utilizing this facility, including small boats ties beneath the walkway and ramp.

Day Limits

There is a five day limit except for dinghies used to transit to and from anchored vessels and the dock.

Deposit fees in the payment box [picture] including the following information:

• vessel name
• type
• length
• operator
• owner
• contact information
• dates of arrival and departure
• payment amount

Note: Payments cannot be validated or refunded without the above information. It is the responsibility of the owner/operator to provide paper and pens if these are unavailable at the Dock.
